Dimensions & tree compatibility
At three inches from the tip of the Santa hat to the base, this ornament suits trees from tabletop miniatures to full-size firs. The width measures roughly two inches, so it won’t crowd neighboring decorations or weigh down thinner branches.
The metal loop threads through a reinforced eyelet molded into the top of the hat. We tested it with standard ornament hooks, ribbons up to quarter-inch width, and even twine—all hold without slipping. For heavier garland displays, the loop also accepts zip-ties if you prefer a no-sway mount.

The resin construction is more durable than ceramic or glass ornaments. It can withstand minor drops onto carpet or hardwood without chipping, though we still recommend gentle handling. The glossy finish protects the paint from scratches during normal use and storage.
We design our ornaments for indoor display only. Outdoor exposure to rain, snow, and temperature swings can degrade the paint and weaken the hanging loop over time. If you do use it outside temporarily, bring it in after your event to preserve the finish.
The metal loop is built into the ornament, but we don’t include a separate hook or ribbon. Standard ornament hooks from any craft store fit perfectly, or you can thread your own ribbon through the loop for a custom look.
